Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector vs Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream

I think only the laziest bloggers (read - me) have not written about Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream which is coming soon to Latvian drugstores. I`ve seen lot of reviews for it. You can read them (in latvian) at skaistumlapa, naktsmeita, skaistumadienasgramata. If I have forgotten someone please leave comments and I`ll add link to your blog.

So! I decided to give a little bit of added value to this post and compare  Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream to Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Daily All-In-One BB Cream.

First comes Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Daily All-In-One BB Cream. From manufacturer: Achieve immediately perfected skin. Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Daily All-In-One B.B. Cream will:
- Even your skin tone & boost its glow
- Blur imperfections
- Smooth fine lines
- Offer 24 hour hydration
- Protect your skin with SPF15 UV protection.
Recommended age of use: late teens to mid-30's.
Price: £8.50 for 50 ml. Available from: feelunique or Drogas (in Latvia). Available in two shades: light and medium. You can read my review here. Overall I found this product not suits me in terms of color and is too dewy for my (dry to combination) skin. But I do think this one is a good moisturizer. And it keeps promises and blurs imperfections.

Now Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. From manufacturer:

I could not find any information about recommended age of use. Available in Drogas. The price is about 4.50 Ls (~9$) for 30 ml. Available in three shades: light, medium and dark. The lightest shade is also a bit dark for me. But I love the product! It blurs the imperfections. Cream has light coverage but you can build it up. My skin changed so much using this cream. It become much more soothed and moisturized. Also you can not beat SPF 30.

Overall I prefer using Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream because it feels better on my skin, it has SPF 30 and it matches my skin color a bit better and do not leave my face shiny.

Sveikas, skaistules!
Jau sen gribēju izmēģināt šos produktus ilglaicīgi, jo pirms tam esmu pamēģinājusi testerus - mazajā iepakojumā pa 2 ml un īsti nevar saprast kas un kā. Taču beidzot man ir tāda iespēja.
Jāsaka, ka man nekad nav bijušas lielas problēmas ar ādu. Šad tad man uzmetas kāda pumpiņa uz pieres, bet būtībā tas arī viss. Manas lielākās problemas ir vietām sausa ādā un melnie punkti uz deguna, no kuriem ļoti aktīvi mēģinu tikt vaļā.
Šo komplektiņu man dzimšanas dienā uzdāvināja māsa, tāpēc cenu pateikt nevarēšu.
Jāsaka, ka pilnu atsauksmi nebūšu spējīga uzrakstīt, jo vēl tā kārtīgi neesmu iemēģinājusi, taču varu dalīties ar savu pirmo iespaidu!

Šie līdzekļi ir paredzēti pirmā un otrā tipa ādai - sausa un sausa/kombinēta āda.

Komplēktā, kā jau parasti, ietilpst 3 līdzekļi (3 soļu sistēma) - 1. solis attīrīšana (liquid facial soap), šķidrās ziepes sejai. (šajā iepakojumā 50 ml)

Jāsaka godīgi, ka tas ir vienīgais produkts, par kuru neesmu sajūsmā. Ziepes ir ļoti biezas, patīkama smarža. Taču man tās liekas pārāk biezas, rodas problēmas ar to noskalošanu. Pirms tam lietoju Krievijā ražotas sejas ziepes no multiluksa, kurām ir ļoti līdzīgs sastāvs un efektivitāte. Atšķirību neredzu, tad kāpēc maksāt vairāk?

2.solis tonizēšana (clarifying lotion). Škidrs losjons uz spirta bāzes, kas paredzēts melno punktiņu novēršanai. (100 ml)

 Es nespēju vārdiem aprakstīt cik ļoti es dievinu šo toniku! Tā sastāvā ir mentols, kas tik ļoti atsvaidzina ādu un piešķir vēsuma sajūtu. Patīkama sajūta it kā tikko būtu noskalojusu seju ar vēsu avota ūdeni :)
Šo līdzekli gribēju jau sen un beidzot esmu priecīga to iegūt savā īpašumā.

Pēdējais no šīs sistēmas soļiem - mitrināšāna. (dramatically different moisturazing lotion 50 ml ).
No sākuma nedaudz nobijos, jo sastāvā ir minerāleļļa, kas var nosprostot poras, taču esmu dzirdējusi, ka, ja āda ir sausa, tad tā neko sliktu nevar nodarīt. No sākuma ļoti vīlos - losjons pēc uzklāšanas atstāj nelielu eļļas kārtiņu uz sejas. Taču pēc mirkļa tā iesūcas ādā un āda kļūst tik gluda un mitrināta!
Līdz šim esmu apmierināta ar šo sejas kremu un domāju, ka pēc izlietošanas iegādāšos to atkal.

Viss bija iepakots šādā smukā kastē un kā jau dāvanu komplektam līdzi nāča arī divi bonusiņi. :)
Pirmais bija kosmētikas maciņš, kas man ļoti patika, jo tam ir parocīgs izmērs - ne par mazu, ne par lielu un tas ir caurspīdīgs tāpēc ideāli peimērots ceļošanai. Smuka maliņa ar puķītēm.

Un kā liels pārsteigums man, kompletā bija iekļauts arī sejas skubis. (7 day scrub cream 30 ml).

Skurbim ir patīkama smarža. Tas ir paredzēts sausai ādai, taču es uzskatu, ka sausai ādai tas ir pārāk raupjš. Gribētos, lai mazās skurbja daliņas ir nedaudz smalkākas. Taču joprojām labi piemērots, piemēram, T-zonai, kas nav tik sausa. Kopumā, arī šis produkts man patīk.

Esmu ļoti priecīga un apmierināta ar šo komplektiņu un saku publiksu paldies savai mīļajai māsiņai :)

My concealers. 5 Camouflage Cream Palette review

Hello gorgeous! I am very sorry, but I`ve been very busy for couple weeks :(
Today  I am going to show you one of my favorite concealers :) (OK not one but 5 :) I think I will make kind of cycle "My concealers". First going to be Make up for ever 5 Camouflage cream palette.

Thanks to their dense texture, the Camouflage Cream Palettes allow any type of correction. Highly concentrated in pigments, they are perfect for covering dark spots and other skin blemishes and unifying the complexion, even when wearing light make up. The natural shades are especially effective to hide dark circles or puffy eyes, pigment stains and scars. The corrective shades conceal hyper-pigmented areas. The 5 Camouflage Cream Palettes have been designed to suit all skin types.
I own palette  #1 for European skin.

As you can see palette holds 5 shades (5 x 2g = 10g of product). 4 skin tones and green. And I think this makes the palette to stand out among the other concealers. If you can not find the right shade for you - here is a solution!
The texture is quite heavy but all the concealers blend easily when applied with warm fingers. If you prefer using brush I would suggest first to put a little amount on the back of your hand ant then apply it to the face (using brush). This concealers have amazing coverage! It is better to build up the coverage (instead of putting a thick layer at once). You can achieve a really flawless look with these. These concealers are not good for under eye area as they are quite thick and will come into fine lines. But the palette is perfect for the face. Using it you can cover blemishes, redness, and even blue veins. I think this is a good make up product to invest to. You will get 5 shades you can mix to get the right color even if you skin shade changes (like winter to summer I mean :) Also concealers have good staying power.
Now to the colors:

No 11 Porcelain - the lightest shade in the palette. it is very light (even for my very light skin tone) and has neutral undertone

No 13 Light Beige - second light shade. It has a bit more pink undertone. And as you can see this color suits me better than the others :) 

No 14 Yellow Beige - I would say this shade is similar to the previous one in lightness/darkness, but this one has visible yellow undertone which is amazing for covering redness.

No 15 Golden Beige - It is hard to characterize :) I can not say that this is just a dark color. It is ORANGE. really orange. Sometimes I use this as a bronzer or blusher :)

No 17 Green - is green :) is blends very well and conceals redness very well :)

The price is 22.00 Ls (~ 45 $). And think this palette is totally worth it :) By the way you can buy all the colors individually for 12.70 Ls (7g).

Dior Diorshow New Look Mascara – Lash Multiplying Effect Volume & Care

Today I am going to review mascara. I had chance to get sample of  Diorshow New Look Mascara with Lash Multiplying Effect. I've been trying it out for couple weeks now and I am ready to share my opinion with you  :)



Tube of it looks like this. 1,5 ml in sample size - enough for me to try :)

First of all - smell. It smells nice, doesn't have cheap plastic smell, more like 'waxy' smell.

Secondly - wand. When I first looked at it, it seemed very regular rubber or latex wand, but then I noticed that it has weird looking tip. Bistles on the tip are smaller and placed less frequently.

It supose to be very unique brush that works only for this mascara (haven't tried it with other mascaras), nano tehnology with 'lash catcher'.

About formula - dior.com says that mascara has new formula with regenerating serum that provides special treatment to your lashes that makes them thicker and visibly multiplied.

I don't know anything about nano thenology, but I feel like this mascara doest what it says. It gives volume and feels very luxurious on lashes.

Everything would seem so perfect, but I must addmit that I realy didn't like this mascara. I realy tried to work with it, but still nothing. Just because durind the day mascara transfers to my lid. And noone likes that look. I don't have very oily lids, it never happened with other mascaras. Even if I apply powder, eyeshadow base and eyeshadow on top of it, somehow this mascara still happens to get on my lid. When I tried to wear it without eyeshadow (only mascara and liner) I saw black marks on my skin already in one hour.

I can wear it only if I need to run out just for couple minutes to buy something. But who would buy Dior and spend $28.50 on mascara to make groceries?

AVON nailpolish HAUL + NOTD

Hello gorgeous!

Today I have sping inspired nailpolish haul for you! I got 5 nailpolishes and I am so excited, because colors are absolutely fantastic.

(from left to right Illusion, Apricot Mystery, Aqua Fantasy, Blue Escape, Loving Lavander)

Here Apricot Mystery looks less orange, very true to life.

This is my favorite one (Iluusion) just because it's very unique color. It has small purple reflects just like holographic nail polish. Unfortunately you can see it only in sunlight.



I bought them ~4$ each (Ls 2.10). Color payoff is very good. It's enough with two coats for opaque color.

Overall I am satisfied with Avon nail polishes and sugest you to give them a try.

And now my and my sisters nails of the day with new nailpolishes!
