Hello gorgeous! Today the sun is shining and my lashes are stretching (because of mascara by Armani :) I got this mascara from skaistumlapa`s giveaway in the end of March. Baiba, I am so sorry that it took so much time for me to make this post (and I hope you don`t mind I stole some pictures from you). So...

First of all Eyes To Kill Stretching mascara has very unique wand.

The brush is like 2-dimensional :) (I mean not 3D because it is flat. The idea is - firstly you place the brush parallel to the lashes (see left on the image) to reach even the smallest lashes. And then place the brush perpendicular to the lashes (so this will turn the brush "classical") to comb them through - to separate. 

This mascara is definitely a lenghtening mascara. It won`t give an incredible volume to the lashes but will give a good definition and length. It is great for every day and it is incredibly long lasting. I was in Tallinn in the beginning of April and it was a kind of mixture of rain and snow (in April!) falling from the sky, and I had no umbrella! Eyes to kill killed all the other "panda" girls in a bus. Girls tried to wipe their eyes and discussed that only waterproof mascara can handle such nasty weather. Ha-ha, losers! :D Eyes to kill looked the same as just applied.

So, what do you think? Have you tried this mascara? I would go for something more volumising (probably because my lashes are long but not so thick), but as I said - this is great mascara for everyday wear.

NOTD L`Oreal Exotic Canaries

Hello gorgeous! Finally I have some free time and I decided to paint my nails yellow. Amazing summer yellow called Exotic Canaries by L`Oreal.

Sorry for my cuticles. I skipped doing manicure for about 3 monts :) But it is not the point :) The color is buuuuutiful! I am not sure that it really is canary color (I think they are more greeny-yellow color). Color reminds me of orange juice :) Creamy yellow with teeny tiny bit of orange :) But the texture is horrible :( Ok not that horrible like Urban Lemon by Maybelline (I am searching for the prefect yellow for a long time :) but still. Nail polish applies streaky. I used 3 coats. Maybe with a bit more practice it will be better. I have to admit the brush is very good and very handy. I have 2 more varnishes ( #610 Rebel Blue and #701 Midnight Mistress) from new collection by L`Oreal. And they both have a little bit of shimmer so I hope they gonna apply better :)

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo Cleanser review

Hello gorgeous! It is the middle of the summer and it is the best time to talk about very gentle facial cleanser. Sometimes a day spent outside is just too much for my skin (even with high SPF). No one likes that feeling of tightness and irritation of the skin. And if you got sunburn on the one hand you want to cool your skin but on the other you want to calm your skin and make it feel comfortable. And some cleansers (especially foams and clay based cleansers) are just too harsh in these days. And you feel like they strip your skin way too much. So here is the solution! La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo Cleanser!

It is cleansing and makeup removal fluid for face and eyes formulated for all types of intolerant skin. It is SOOOOO mild! I would say even much milder than Extremely Gentle Cleanser by Avene (you can find my review here). It can be used without water (of course you can rinse your skin afterwards if you need). The good thing about it is that cleanser dissolves all the makeup very well (I didn`t try this for mascara).

Cleanser has a very lightweight jelly consistency. It has almost no smell to it (no fragrance added). It is also surfactant free (woohoo SLS fighters! this one is for you :) preservative free and even paraben free. And it has the shortest ingredients list i`ve ever seen (I talk just about cleansers).

Ingredients: water, ethylhexyl palmitate, glycerin, dipropyleneglycol, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, caprylglycol/caprylyl glycol, ethylhexylglycerin. That`s all!

I love it! I love French pharmacies :) The only downside of this is the packaging. Sometimes it is hard to get the product out. The shape of the bottle could be more sleek (like Avene`s  Extremely Gentle Cleanser). But it will not keep me from buying this product again :)

Trend news - "Blues"

Hello gorgeous! This is going to be my first post about makeup trend. The reason for this is the fact that I am so excited about upcoming "blue eyes". First time I noticed it at beauty insider blog. The trend is going to be on top in Autumn/Winter collections, but already a lot of makeup brands launched some "blues".

The shades are so gorgeous and glamorous! The key is to make your face very neutral and nude looking, then it will be a perfect canvas for rocking blue eyes. And have you seen the nail polish?

I would call it Latvian sky blue :) This will pop against tanned skin. 

And Chanel is far not the only player in the blue field.

Maybelline Illegal Length mascara review

Hello gorgeous! I am very sorry for being silent for a long time but it was very hard time for me. Now I have a completely new lifestyle and habits and would even say that I have my second life. But new me is here ready for being make up geek :) So today I want to share with you my experience with a new mascara by Maybelline called Illegal Length.
What Maybelline says:
Build 4mm of measurable extensions!
- Fiber-fix brush has 6 different contact points with each lash for optimal fiber placement.
- Breakthrough formula contains fibers up to 4mm in length.
- Sealing formula stretches lashes and seals fibers to lashes.
- Washable.
Also I have some special information for bloggers that mascara contains both hard and soft waxes for better texture and a lash conditioner (sounds promising, right?).

My thoughts: this mascara is definitely lengthening mascara :) I have quite long but thin lashes so I am looking for a volumizing mascaras with more dramatic effect. But I found this mascara great for everyday use. Mascara wand is very unique and I like that lashes look a bit mess-around and very natural. See images of my eye:
