Maybelline Lasting Drama gel eyeliner review and look

Hello gorgeous! I know internet is full of reviews of this eyeliner so I`ll show you my look with Maybelline Lasting Drama eyeliner and tell how I deal with a little problem concerned by otherwise great product :)
First of all it comes in quite typical gel eyeliner pot but with not typical screw cap (reminds me of screw cap of bottle of vodka :D and brush (which means you don`t need to invest into eyeliner brush.

The product is a bit thicker than other eyeliners I have (MAC and Essence) but still it glides on easily  and really does not crease or fade for a long time (I have never tried to wear any makeup for 24h). I really like the consistency of the liner but I found that it tends to dry in the pot quite fast (I mean in about 2 weeks after opening). If this happened with your liner it starts to droop after the application and looks horrible. But don`t be afraid! You just need to scratch dried top coat and voila! The eyeliner is great again :) If I need to choose among my eyeliners I think MAC is better in terms of color selection (a LOT of shades available, but not in Latvia :( no MAC in Latvia at all :(  but you can not beat the price of about 6Ls (~7 British pounds) against £14 for MAC`s Fluidline.
And here is my look:

And closer look of the line:

Have you tried this eyeliner? What do you think of it?

New Maybelline COLORAMA #749 swatch (and review of the collection)

Hello gorgeous! I am so excited about new Colorama nail polishes by Maybelline!

I don`t know if Maybelline changed the formula of the nail polish of just bottle design but these cuties look just amazing! The new collection includes 62! shades (Well I have to say I don`t know if all of the shades will be available in Latvia).
Just look at some of them:

New Colorama nail polishes should hit Latvia`s drugstores (Drogas, Rimi, Kolonna, Stockmann, Maxima) in September.  Recommended retail price is 1,69Ls (~3,2 $).
I have 8 shades to show you (well not today :) And I decided to start from #749

#749 is gorgeous pure yellow shade which by the way is quite similar to the nail polish #302 Exotic Canaries by L`Oreal (Exotic Canaries is a little bit lighter):

The application is a little bit tricky (which is just common for cream (and especially yellow) nail polishes. First two coats looked streaky on my nails. But 3 coats is just enough to get very even result. Nail polish dries quite fast and stays very shiny after drying. I decided to make a little twist to my nails and added leopard print from Konad m57 plate:

Leopard was smeared a bit after top coat was applied :)

Liz Earle cleanse & polish hot cloth cleanser review

Hello gorgeous! I`ve seen a lot of beauty bloggers being so excited about Liz Earle cleanse & polish that I just had to try this out :) And guess what? I am excited too :D
When I received my parcel from Liz Earle I was very surprised by the weight of the box. I ordered only cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser (100 mL size) but the parcel weighted more than 600 grams??? There were lot of catalogs and other information about Liz Earle and their products.

Liz Earle: We only make one cleanser because this formulation works on every age and skin type, offering concentrated yet gentle cleansing power.
Our plant-based cleanser has a two-phase action. Phase one is the cleansing. Free from mineral oil, it has a rich and creamy texture and swiftly removes all traces of face and eye make up, even stubborn mascara. Phase two is the polishing. Polish off the cream using the pure muslin cloth to gently dislodge dead skin cells and help reveal clean, soft and radiant skin.
Naturally active ingredients include eucalyptus and cocoa butter for smoother, cleaner skin.
Cleanse daily morning and night using this two-step process:
Step 1: Massage one or two pumps onto dry skin over face and neck twice a day.
Step 2: Rinse the pure muslin cloth in hand-hot water and wring out before gently wiping off the cream. Rinse and repeat.
Splash face with cool clean water and follow with Instant Boost Skin Tonic and your choice of moisturiser.

I received small washbag and 50mL Instant boost skin tonic as a complimentary gift.

After first try I just fell in love with cleanse & polish cleanser. It is so different from the cleansers I tried before. First of all it is thick (reminds me of classic thick cream by Nivea).

The smell is very natural and not overwhelming. Cleanser removes makeup just phenomenally good. It removes even very stubborn mascara (I have to say I don`t use waterproof mascara). I like using cloth because it shows me if some makeup is still left on my skin. Also it provides a very light exfoliation every time I wash my face. I found that the cloth works great with other cleansers (especially clay based ones). Cleanser does not make my skin feel dry. After cleansing my skin feels very clean and soothed. Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser changed my skincare routine. A cleansing process is like a small spa ritual for me now :)

Ingredients: Aqua (water), Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, Cetearyl alcohol, Cetyl esters, Sorbitan stearate, Polysorbate 60, Glycerin, Cera alba (beeswax), Propylene glycol, Humulus lupulus (hops) extract, Panthenol, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) extract, Anthemis nobilis (chamomile) extract, Eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus) oil, Limonene, Citric acid, Sodium hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Dehydroacetic acid, Polyaminopropyl biguanide.

Liz Earle cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser available from here. Starter kit (100mL cleanser and 2 cloths) costs 14.25 British pounds.
Have you tried Liz Earle cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser?  How do you like it? Have you tried other Liz Earle products and what are your favorites?

Use it up!

Hello gorgeous! Today I went to my bathroom and realized that I have loads and loads of cosmetics. I am not talking about makeup but mostly of skincare, bodycare, haicare, buttcare :D...whatever. Tonnes of bottles I buy, try, put away, then buy something like product being just launched or some amazing product being lavished bu other bloggers and again...whatever :D

I have about 6 half empty (or half full :D facial cleansers, a LOT of facial masks, a LOT of body oils and lotions and a lot of other stuff :) And I think that I am not the only girl (and especially girl having beauty blog) owning such a cosmetic warehouse. So I propose a 1 month  challenge! Not to buy any new skincare or haircare or whatevercare product before I wont use at least 2 similar products I own. Who is going with me? :D Don`t let me alone :D I hope I gonna have a lot of empties after one month :)

NOTD Max Factor Fantasy Fire

Hello gorgeous! Finally Fantasy Fire has arrived to Latvia! I waited soooo long for it :)
It looks just unbelievable! Isn`t it?

Tiny sparkles change their color depending on the point of view.

The nail polish itself applies very easy, without streaks. The downside of this particular color is that you will need to put 5 layers (well I did 5, but I believe if you have shorter nails you may need only 3 coats). But I rally wanted to see it`s original color. If it is not so important to you I would suggest to use 2 coats of Fantasy Fire over some matching dark color nail polish.

P.S. it retails for about 3.50 Ls (~7 $) in Latvia.
How do you like it?
